2. What e-Guruji is, and is not

e-Guruji provides devotional and astrological guidance drawn from Hindu tradition: a daily guide based on your birth chart and the panchangam your family follows, mantras, answers to questions about prayer and observance, and the arrangement of archana, poojas and pandit services at temples and with pandits who work with us.

e-Guruji is a matter of faith and tradition. It does not predict the future, and no outcome of any prayer, remedy, archana or service is promised or guaranteed. Nothing we send is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and it must not be relied on as such. If you have a question about health, see a doctor; about a legal matter, see a lawyer; about money, see a qualified adviser. Our service will decline to answer questions about illness, lifespan and the outcome of legal proceedings.

We comply with the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. We make no claim that any mantra, pooja or remedy cures any disease or condition.

3. Who may use it

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law. A person under 18 may be added as a family member only by a parent or lawful guardian, as described in our privacy policy. By using e-Guruji from outside India you confirm that doing so is lawful where you are.

4. Your account

Your WhatsApp mobile number is your account. Keep your phone and WhatsApp secure; anything sent from your number is treated as sent by you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the birth details you give us: a wrong date, time or place produces a wrong chart, and we cannot be responsible for guidance based on wrong details. You may correct them at any time.

5. The daily guide subscription

6. Archana, poojas and temple services

7. Pandit services

Readings, porutham, muhurtham, jathagam and consultations are prepared by pandits who work with us, based on the details you supply. They are opinions within a tradition, not statements of fact, and may differ from another pandit's view. Prices are shown before you confirm. Delivery times are stated at booking; most written work is delivered within 3 working days.

8. Payments

Payments are collected by Razorpay, a payment aggregator authorised by the Reserve Bank of India, through UPI, cards, net banking and wallets. We do not see or store your card or bank details. A receipt is sent on WhatsApp for every payment. Prices may change; a change never affects a service you have already paid for.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, after telling you why, and refund any unused paid period.

10. Content and intellectual property

The mantras themselves belong to tradition and to everyone. Our recordings, translations, explanations, software, the e-Guruji name and the design of the service are ours or our licensors'. You may use what we send you for your own and your family's devotion. You may not copy it for commercial use.

11. Third-party services

e-Guruji runs on WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta Platforms under its own terms. Temples and pandits are independent of us. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond the remedies in section 6 and the refund policy.

12. Our liability

We will perform our obligations with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit or loss that we could not reasonably foresee. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Ending the agreement

You may stop using e-Guruji at any time by sending stop, and ask for your data to be deleted as described on the data deletion page. We may end the service with 30 days' notice, refunding any unused paid period in full.

14. Grievances

Our Grievance Officer, Raj Kumar, can be reached at advocateproind@gmail.com or at the address above. Grievances are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 15 days. This officer is appointed under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the DPDP Act, 2023.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to your right to approach a consumer forum where you live.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change affects you, we will tell you on WhatsApp at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change; if you do not, you may stop and receive a refund of any unused paid period.
