Questions people ask

Is this astrology or religion?

Both, in the way most Hindu families live them: the panchangam tells you the day, and prayer is how you meet it. We do not predict the future and we do not guarantee results.

Which panchangam do you follow?

The one your family follows. At sign-up we ask two questions: your family's calendar tradition and your current city. The first sets the panchangam and the language; the second sets sunrise and therefore all the timings.

What do you need from me?

Your name, date, time and place of birth, the city you live in now, and whether you are a man or a woman so that we address you correctly. That is all.

Does it work outside India?

Yes. Timings are calculated for where you are, with your time zone and daylight saving handled. WhatsApp charges differ by country, so subscription prices for numbers outside India are shown in your currency.

How do I know the archana was done?

The temple sends a photo or video after the pooja, and we forward it to you on WhatsApp. The temple is paid only after that.

Can I add my parents or children?

Yes. Family members get a free chart and star verification. A child under 18 is added only by a parent or guardian, and we send the child nothing directly.

What will you never do?

We will not tell you anything about illness, lifespan or the outcome of a court case. We will not sell fear. We will never share your birth details with anyone except the priest performing your archana, who receives your name, star and gothram and nothing else.

How do I stop?

Send 'stop' on WhatsApp. The daily guide stops at once and nothing more is charged. To erase your data entirely, see the data deletion page.
